Since the advent of time, much has been written about life, whether
it be books, poetry, tabloids & all kinds of journals to numerous
music that has been written & recorded to film where we can document,
fantasise or model life.
We live in unquestionably, the greatest time in all of time.
Regardless of the constant negatives we hear, see & experience
every day, the past 100 years have realised quantum development
in civilisation since the dawn of time - a fact!
What has not changed is the reason for all this advancement - people!
The human character is ( & always will be) unique in that it has
the ability to dream, to visualise & manifest into reality anything
it wants.
As one philosopher once said many years ago "We sow our thoughts
and we reap our actions. We sow our actions and we reap our habits.
We sow our habits and we reap our character. We sow our character
and we reap our destiny."
Said another way "We understand what we want to do & develop our
business plan. We put our business plan into action by finding the
best people we can. We develop, train & nurture our people who will
define the company. We develop, train & nurture our company to get
what we want!"
Believe me. Business (as in life) is as simple as that.
In reality, as a business grows, confronts competition & manages
the ever changing economic situations, it is ever so easy to pay
less attention to its people - some never do from the start & consequently
performance & growth suddenly start to stall.
No enterprise is immune, we have all seen some of the biggest global
empires take a tumble.
The press writes much about the causes & effects along with the
resultant fallout, when all one has to do is look at their business
plan, see their management development strategy, their internal
communication process & their ability to listen to their customers
to find the reason for failure.
Those that survive, grow & prosper are the ones that plan accordingly,
understand its market, are flexible for change & above all, have
the capability.
